#ggg - A little glitz, a little glam, and a little grunge - Original, mixed media, abstract art. Each piece, a work of art. Each piece, dances in the light, and plays with the shadows. Each piece, sharing and revealing different aspects of itself, depending on lighting from time of day, and home lighting. Each piece, with a little story all it’s own, waiting, to share itself with you. Offering, plenty to rest your eyes on. Offering plenty to sit and relax with. Offering plenty to admire and enjoy. By the time these pieces have come to be what they are, I have grown to really love something different about every one. My hope is that as these pieces find places in your lives, you come to find pieces and places in them, that speak to you, that draw you in, that you come to love and admire. Soft pastel … For the love of painting, and blending, and using my fingers. … There is nothing like the richness and vibrancy found in this medium. … My abstract is very loose, and very much becomes what it does, largely without any attachment from me. Balance in all things. I find working in pastel, equally as rewarding and enjoyable, for all of the opposite reasons. My pastel is very intentional, and I am always working to get to a desired image. Often times, I get lost in the intricacies, the details. My abstracts and my pastels, are, my yin and yang. … Although they may seem unrelated to one another, they are very much part of what makes my art whole. I love light, shadows, ocean, waves, music, animals. … I love peace. … No matter what I am working on, or what piece of my art or photography you are looking at, you will find my loves, woven through all of my work. … As always, my hope, is that my art is a place and piece of joy and enjoyment for you. ✌&❤ - JM

Fresh air club, … Bringing the outside in. … Just enjoy the views. … As I mentioned above, I am a fond admirer of, this beautiful life. … Life is short. … One day, we wake up to realize, we are beginning, or, nearing the end of another season. One day, we all must, and will face, the end of our time. No matter your beliefs, your eyes, will never set again, on life at this very moment, these times. … We all face adversity. We all deal with the daily annoyances and struggles in life. However, woven through all of our days and lives, are beautiful moments, and beautiful times. Cherish, and soak, as best you can, in these moments, and times.
